Brand Identity for Mays Landing Merchants Association— a community with a mission to help the small businesses of Mays Landing.
Mays Landing Merchants Association is a non-profit corporation built around helping and promoting local businesses in the Greater Mays Landing Area to thrive and celebrate the community. Given the nature of their mission to spark inspiration and success, it is just right that their brand must match that energy with a clean, colorful and celebratory feel in which they are lacking.
I decided to establish the visual identity of MLMA based on a modular map aesthetic structure, implementing a naturalistic concept complemented with festive colors, and thus strengthening its core sense of locality and connection.
Overlaid cut-out elements influenced by the map style design are used as a visual element.
